NiTinol is used in a vast variety of applications in medical implants and instruments. Its excellent corrosion behaviour together with extraordinary properties open significant markets and opportunities. About 90% of all medical applications make use of the superelasticity, the remaining 10% use mainly the martensitic deformation characteristics. |
